1. Information We Collect
Account Information

- information necessary to manage your account, usage allowances, credits, and subscription status.
Authentication services may also provide us with limited account information necessary to authenticate you and operate the Service.
Content and VOD Information
When you use Gameplay Shorts to analyze a Twitch VOD, we may process:
- the Twitch VOD URL or identifier you provide;
- publicly available information associated with the VOD, such as stream metadata;
- portions of video, audio, chat, or other stream content required to analyze potential highlights;
- timestamps, detected events, highlight candidates, scores, descriptions, and other analysis results;
- configuration information used to generate a Short, such as selected timestamps, crop settings, or layout options.
Gameplay Shorts does not permanently store Twitch VODs as video files as part of the Service.
Video content may be temporarily processed by our systems and service providers as necessary to perform analysis, clipping, transcoding, and related functionality.
Generated Shorts
When you generate a Short, the Service processes the selected portion of the source content and makes the resulting file available for download.
Gameplay Shorts does not currently retain generated Shorts as permanently stored video files. If you leave or reload the relevant session, a previously generated Short may no longer be available through the Service and may need to be generated again.
Usage and Technical Information
We may automatically collect technical and usage information, including:
- pages and features you use;
- actions and events within the Service;
- browser and device information;
- IP address and approximate location derived from it;
- operating system;
- timestamps;
- diagnostic information, error logs, and performance data.
We use this information to operate, secure, troubleshoot, understand, and improve the Service.
Payment and Subscription Information
Payments for Gameplay Shorts are processed by Paddle, our payment provider and Merchant of Record.
Gameplay Shorts does not directly collect or store your full payment card details.
Paddle may provide us with information necessary to manage purchases and subscriptions, such as transaction identifiers, purchased products or plans, payment status, subscription status, and other billing-related information.
Paddle processes personal information according to its own privacy practices.
2. How We Use Information
We may use information we collect or process to:
- provide and operate Gameplay Shorts;
- authenticate users and manage accounts;
- analyze Twitch VODs and identify potential highlights;
- generate clips and vertical Shorts requested by users;
- maintain analysis results and associated VOD identifiers;
- manage credits, usage allowances, purchases, and subscriptions;
- provide customer support;
- diagnose errors and improve performance and reliability;
- understand how users interact with the Service;
- prevent fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, and misuse;
- enforce our Terms of Service;
- comply with applicable legal obligations; and
- protect the rights, security, and integrity of Gameplay Shorts, our users, and others.
3. AI Processing
Gameplay Shorts uses artificial intelligence services, including Google Gemini, to analyze content and identify potentially relevant moments within streams.
To provide these features, portions of content and related information may be transmitted to and processed by our AI service providers.
AI-generated analysis may include classifications, scores, timestamps, descriptions, suggested highlights, and other generated information.
AI systems can make mistakes. Analysis results are intended to assist users in finding and editing content and should not be considered guaranteed to be accurate.
4. Service Providers
We use third-party service providers to operate Gameplay Shorts. These may include providers of:
- cloud hosting and computing;
- authentication and databases;
- analytics and diagnostics;
- artificial intelligence processing;
- payment and subscription processing; and
- security and infrastructure services.
Our current service providers include Google services such as Firebase, Google Cloud, and Gemini, as well as Paddle for payment processing.
These providers may process information on our behalf or, where applicable, as independent controllers under their own privacy policies and legal obligations.
Twitch content accessed through the Service remains subject to Twitch's applicable terms and privacy practices.
5. Cookies, Local Storage, and Analytics
Gameplay Shorts and our service providers may use cookies, browser storage, and similar technologies where necessary to:
- keep you signed in;
- maintain application state and preferences;
- provide security functionality;
- measure usage and performance;
- diagnose technical problems; and
- support payment and subscription functionality.
We may use Firebase Analytics or similar analytics services to understand how the Service is used.
Where applicable law requires consent for non-essential cookies or similar technologies, we will use such technologies in accordance with applicable consent requirements.

Where laws such as the European Union or United Kingdom General Data Protection Regulation apply, we process personal information under one or more applicable legal bases, including:

Account information, VOD identifiers, analysis records, transaction references, and other service metadata may be retained while your account is active and for an appropriate period afterward where necessary for legitimate business or legal purposes.
Gameplay Shorts does not currently use permanent storage for source Twitch VOD video files or generated Short video files.
Temporary data created during processing may exist for the time necessary to complete a request and may also be subject to the infrastructure and retention practices of the service providers involved in processing.
8. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information.
We may disclose information:
- to service providers necessary to operate the Service;
- to Paddle in connection with purchases, subscriptions, refunds, fraud prevention, and payment-related matters;
- when required by law, legal process, or a valid governmental request;
- where reasonably necessary to protect the security, rights, or property of Gameplay Shorts, our users, or others;
- in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, or transfer of all or part of the Service, subject to applicable law.
We do not share user content with third parties for unrelated advertising purposes.
9. International Data Transfers
Gameplay Shorts is an online service that uses service providers operating internationally.
As a result, personal information may be processed in countries other than the country where you live. Where required by applicable law, appropriate safeguards may be used for international transfers of personal information.
Third-party providers may also maintain their own mechanisms for lawful international data transfers.

Our processing of content through the Service does not grant Gameplay Shorts ownership of the underlying Twitch VOD or other user-provided content.

13. Age Requirement
Gameplay Shorts is intended only for individuals who are at least 18 years old.
You may not create an account, purchase products or subscriptions, or use the Service if you are under 18 years of age.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18. If we learn that we have collected personal information from an individual under 18, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
